AP Access Award

We are thrilled to announce that HCSS has earned the College Board’s AP School Honor Roll for the 2023-24 school year! This recognition is a testament to our team’s dedication and hard work in opening doors for students to access AP courses and preparing them for college success. HCSS has also received the prestigious AP Access Award for fostering a learning environment that actively encourages low-income and underrepresented minority students to take on the challenge of AP coursework. Research shows that students who take AP courses are more likely to attend college and graduate on time. Even those who don’t earn college credit gain valuable exposure to college-level work, fostering a strong, college-going culture.
