About
Welcome to Hampden Charter School of Science High School, one of the top schools in Western Massachusetts and Hampden County. We are dedicated to preparing every student for college, career, and lifelong success.
The values that drive what we teach
Respect
We treat every student, family, and colleague with dignity, listen to different perspectives, and build a school culture where everyone feels safe and valued.
Responsibility
Students take ownership of their learning, their choices, and their community — showing up prepared, honoring commitments, and caring for one another.
Excellence
We set high expectations in academics, character, and effort, and give every student the support and encouragement to reach them.
Resilience
We help students embrace challenges, learn from setbacks, and keep going — building the persistence that success in college and life demands.
