Spring Poetry Contest! We are looking for poems that explore: Resilience: Overcoming the frost. Growth: The beauty of change. Beginnings: Starting fresh and looking forward. Contest Rules Limit: One (1) poem per student. Form: Open! Whether it’s a Haiku, Sonnet, Free Verse, or Spoken Word—if it’s poetry, it counts. Originality: Poems written with AI will not be considered. Prize: $50 B&N Gift Card Submit by the end of the school day on April 27th to Mr. Kvarnstrom. Winner announced on Tuesday, April 28th. Each participant will celebrate National Poetry Month with Donuts in the cafeteria. The winner will be announced at the celebration. 11th Grade Hip-Hop/R&B Trivia 11th grade students will be called down to the cafeteria during their Advisory block on Wednesday, May 6th. In the cafeteria, students will participate in a music trivia event. Students will watch short clips from well known music videos, and will try to correctly guess the song's artist. After an initial trivia game, the top four students will then go into a "championship round". The winner of the championship round will earn a gift card.
