Spring Poetry Contest!

Spring Poetry Contest! We are looking for poems that explore: Resilience: Overcoming the frost. Growth: The beauty of change. Beginnings: Starting fresh and looking forward. Contest Rules Limit: One (1) poem per student. Form: Open! Whether it’s a Haiku, Sonnet, Free Verse, or Spoken Word—if it’s poetry, it counts. Originality: Poems written with AI will not be considered. Prize: $50 B&N Gift Card Submit by the end of the school day on April 27th to Mr. Kvarnstrom. Winner announced on Tuesday, April 28th. Each participant will celebrate National Poetry Month with Donuts in the cafeteria. The winner will be announced at the celebration. Get ready for an exciting, high-energy Beyblade showdown! Join us on Saturday, May 2nd, for a fun-filled Beyblade Battle event designed especially for high school students and their parents. Whether you're a seasoned blader or brand new to the arena, this event is all about friendly competition, community, and unforgettable moments. Participants will face off in thrilling matches, show off their skills, and compete for bragging rights (and maybe some prizes!). Parents are encouraged to join in, cheer on competitors, or even jump into the action themselves. It’s a perfect opportunity to bond, meet new people, and relive the excitement of this classic battling game. Influencer Nation Rehearsals

Influencer Nation Rehearsals We will be at the venue for a few hours each day during tech week. Students will need to find their own rides to and from the venue. 11th Grade Hip-Hop/R&B Trivia

11th Grade Hip-Hop/R&B Trivia 11th grade students will be called down to the cafeteria during their Advisory block on Wednesday, May 6th. In the cafeteria, students will participate in a music trivia event. Students will watch short clips from well known music videos, and will try to correctly guess the song's artist. After an initial trivia game, the top four students will then go into a "championship round". The winner of the championship round will earn a gift card.
